The Nansen Cruise

4 June 2018 - Calling into Port Louis, Mauritius, the scientific party of the RV Dr Fridtjof Nansen concludes their one-month study of the geomorphology, physico-chemical conditions, plants and animals of the Saya de Malha and Nazareth Banks on the Mascarene Ridge in the Western Indian Ocean. Data and collections generated will create an improved baseline for science and management advice in this data-poor region.
